Witness walk with cross
This Saturday (3rd Dec), 0900am start.
Hebron church to Milnrow, Newhey , Shaw, Oldham, Royton back to Hebron Rochdale.
Total distance 15.4 miles
It's been a busy few days lately and we all get times where our lives get very busy but we have to be careful that we don't take our eyes off Jesus because if we do we are open to attack from the enemy, we are more vulnerable, we have to keep on praying, worship, seeking. Dont let him bring you down. Look to the cross. Preach out. Walter.
If we have that deep personal relationship with Jesus which will withstand the storms of life then we too can speak and teach with authority in the name of Jesus.
But we do not reject people simply because they have sinned. The world has always had its own way of judging people in different eras and in different cultures. Different sins are regarded as either trival or deadly serious. God doesn't seem to judge the world like that. Every sin is a sin his eyes and equally in need of confession, repentance, atonement and forgiveness. Christians do not judge in the way the world judges. BOOM I'm back. Walter.
Missed Walt's Preach.
Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honour. (Proverbs 21.21)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV)
The Holy Bible has many passages that can encourage you and give you the strength you need to get through each day. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that ALL Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. The Bible is a work of God that was written by human men that were inspired by God. What better source of inspiration than our Creator! Whether you are looking for motivation, encouragement, reassurance, or peace, the Bible can inspire you!
Conversion is that change in mind of a sinner in which he turns on the one hand from sin and on the other hand to christ. Conversion is the human side of the tremendous transformation that takes place in divinely wrought new birth or regeneration. It's simply mans turning from sin to Christ.
Our Father and our God. Thank you for seeing my helpessness and reaching down to convict me of my sin and draw me near to Christ. I give you all the glory for my salvation and seek to live by your grace in my life every day. In christ name Amen.
“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honour Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. ." It's not easy but at times but we got to get this right then the Lord will open doors no man can close. Amen brothers and sisters.
We are out with the cross on Saturday (19th November) walking from Rochdale to Bury. Keep us in your prayers and pray for anybody that might see the light while we are out. Walter.
You split the sea so I could walk right through it. What does that mean for you? For me it means no matter the trouble, no matter the obstacles we face He will help us walk through it. He will push things to the side so we can face straight ahead and you know who's straight ahead? Jesus. Have nice day all. God bless. Walter.
I finish bible college this week so I will be putting more time and effort into Walters preach. Exciting times
Sometimes we can be so afraid to fall, so afraid to stop seeking the Lord, because we know how hard it is to get back up. The struggle it takes but we don't have to worry because if we remain in Christ we can't fall. I mean stay faithful to him even in the times of trouble, keeping on praying, break through in prayer, keep singing and dancing then we can't fall. It's when we stop doing those things we fall and carry on reading your Bible. Preach out.
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:13) How amazing He is! Please comment and tell us how amazing He is
What I love about Jesus is that he's taken the neediness for love and acceptance away from me. He loves me and always has and always will x
We have got to centre prayer in our lives, in our choices, in our walk with God. It's important that we have have a strong prayer life to be able to defend ourselves from the enemy so I want to let you all know that whoever likes my post that I will be praying for you. If you read my stuff on the website and want prayer there is an email link on the site. Let me know and please keep me in your prayers. BOOM done preach out.
Some encouraging verses
And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Matthew 6 v 7
‘Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.’ Matthew 26 v 41
Have you ever had a coincidence, which was so special that it seemed like God was in it? A divine appointment is ‘a meeting’ which was inspired and God led. God is sovereign; He is all-knowing and all-powerful.
Sometimes God wants to bless us and other people. The possibilities of divine appointments are endless! If we are willing to be led by the Holy Spirit, great things are possible. Preach out
If you see it in your mind and have got the courage to speak it out, maybe just to yourself it will happen. It might be hard work but it will happen with the glory of God. What do I mean? Well one day I will be preaching to people as far as the eye can see. It's been done, just got keep walking that path BOOM done dusted, Preach out
Lovely weather (it's raining!) to go do a bit of witnessing, to go spread the love of Jesus. You see the weather could stop you, believe me the enemy wants to stop us spreading the love of Jesus but I think of it like this... going out in the rain will never compare to what jesus did when he picked his cross up and saved us.
We will be in Rochdale town centre doing a bit of witnessing tomorrow (Sat 12th November) at 12. Feel free to join us but please all keep it in your prayers tonight. Walter.
Be prepared, be ready to come out of that comfort zone. The Lord will come knocking don't miss his calling because you're afraid to come out of your comfort zone, out of that routine, the place you feel safe. We have got the "small picture" he's got the "big picture". Look at Moses, God took him out of his comfort zone on more than one occasion and he listened to the Lord. What happened? He became great man of God and we can achieve whatever God has in store for us. We have just got to STEP OUT. Walter's Preach out. Feel free to comment some scripture.
What you speak is what you become. Watch what comes out of your mouth. The enemy is always waiting for an opportunity to bring us down, he never rests so let's not give him that opportunity. We are in a battle, let's battle him together. I pray for all my brothers and sisters in Christ that the enemy will flee, that his tricks will be revealed in your lives. Today is the day we start fighting back. In Jesus' mighty name I pray. Amen. Please feel free to comment some scripture. Preach out.
"My Father and my God I see that through prayer, you offer me the most breathtaking power. Help me humbly to take it and use it wisely. In Jsus name I pray Amen.
Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs that it may beniefit those who listen." WATCH what you saying you can't take it back when you say things that might hurt people. Don't react in anger that's when we can say the most hurtful things. Even if we are not in the wrong and they are keep your mouth shut. We are and should be examples of Christ people need to see Christ through us. When someone upsets you let it be and when you get chance ask that person are they ok. 9 times out of 10 they are struggling with something that we could help with that would benefit them and lift them up. The enemy wants to break up our relationships with our brothers and sisters and to divide the church. Let's not let him, don't let him get a foothold in our lives. amen AMEN. Feel free to add some comments. BOOM Walter's preach out.
Yes kind words count for a lot
Put on the whole armour of God every single piece and in proper order but in addition to that at all times and in all places keep on praying. The danger is that we can feel once we have our spiritual armour on that we are safe, we can relax, all is well, that the armour itself will protect us. This is something satan would love to get us to believe and if we do believe it then it means we are already defeated. The armour of God and it's spiritual application must always be thought of in terms of our relationship snd fellowship with God. If there is no communion with him then the six pieces of armour will be ineffective, the armour of God is not something that is magical or mechanical it functions as a spiritual defence only WHEN WORN IN PRAYER Amen. BOOM. Walter's preach
Was thinking of what to say today and I have just finished reading the daily devotional on Newbold's page. It asked the question "Why do the wicked seem to have it all, money, good life etc?" Well, let me point out to you that's one of the devil's biggest tricks. Why? Because it blinds them from the Lord and from seeking him whilst inside they're lost. I know because I have been there. There is only one thing that can fill that empty space inside and that is the love of Jesus. I felt like saying this because the devil uses this trick on Christians more than you think to make us question God's love for us but trust me you can have all the money in the world but if you havn't got God and eternal life to come I'm afraid you are very poor person indeed. BOOM done it again, over and out Walter's preach
Build Your House on the Rock
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27 English Standard Version (ESV)
False witnesses rose up to accuse Stephen. They were not able to resist the wisdom and spirt by which he spoke. If at some point in your Christian life you have experienced this WOW what a awesome feeling. Why BOOM they just got hit by the Holy Spirit. They are maybe at home saying "What happened?" and your seed has been planted. God will do the rest. Walter's preach out. Amen
The devil is so smart. It's hard to believe how you can have such a blessed day, a good day and go to sleep like you're on "top of the world" and what happens he attacks your dreams on things you struggle with. Why does he do that? He does that that so in the morning you wake up feeling down, so your day will be the opposite of the day before. My advice: soon as you open your eyes pray and then put your favorite worship song on and lift yourself up. Don't give him a foothold. And on that bombshell BOOM I done it again, well he did! Amen.
Remember the Lord wants us to enjoy our lives so always make time for your family don't take too much on and burn yourselves out. Find that balance. BOOM done, short but sweet "Preach of the day" done.
The holy spirit is from God, if we have it we become more like the way Jesus wants us to become, the person he already knows we are. Have a blessed Sunday every one and worship that big man like never before. Amen
Better to learn this lesson now before going any further in your walk with Jesus and your battle with the devil. Ephesians 3:11 says "Put on the full armour of God." You see you need every single piece of God's armour, it is essential. What do I mean? To select some and leave the others is to take the route to failure and defeat. We dare not select parts of the armour that come easy to us and leave the parts that are hard for us, parts that we don't "do". Remember we need it all and if we struggle with parts of that armour the first thing we should do is talk to our Father. It's better to start from where you are rather than not to start at all then BOOM before you know it you will be looking in that mirror and what will you see? The full armour of God in all it's glory. Amen to that. Walter's "Preach of the night" done
Somthing I struggle with at times is dwelling on the things we have not overcome yet. What happens if you dwell on such things? Well it steals you of your future and more important it can stop you praising and worshipping the Lord. You think you should be stronger, you should not be doing such things, you think you're not good enough for him but let me tell you something: Did Jesus take us at our best? No he didn't, he took us at our worst. Now have look back in your life and remember all the things he made you overcome already and remember the things we still have to overcome will be in the past before you know it. Maybe the things we went through were so that we could help a brother or sister in need. "Preach of the day" done.
Give the Lord everything and He will use you for his kingdom. It might be hard but just run with it because he already knows your future, the path he has set before you as it has already been set in stone. You have just got to walk the path. It might be a rocky path, you might have uphill battles but just walk it, run it without fear of getting knocked off that path no matter what. He's walking walking with us, running with us, no better than that he's carrying us on that path up them hills. Amen.
"Preach of the day" done
We are not all going to be deacons or elders and we don't all need to be, but we should all aim to be. If you read Timothy chapter 3 and understand what it takes to become one surely as christians that's the life we should want to live. Thank you to all the deacons and elders out there for all the hard work you have to do and the sacrifices you make and on that bombshell thats Walter's "Preach of the day" done.
Luke 6:28 "Bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you." It's so easy to say this but you will encounter this in your walk with Christ more than we would like to, but stand firm, overcome and remember most of us were like that other person before Jesus saved us. Amen
Just went on the Newbold website for the first time was surprised to see mine and Bernard's big heads on there, but thank use all for the encouragement.
Remember the enemy plays tricks on you, makes things seem worse than thay are. Don't let him get a foothold in your life. When you're unsure on things first seek the Lord in prayer then speak to a trusted friend or brother or sister. Don't dwell on it, that's what he wants. Don't give in to it because you will find that it's not as big a problem as you think. Amen, and thats Walter's preaching done for the day!
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 27. Sometimes it's not as easy as we would like but in our hard times we just got to leave it to him. Put it at the cross because we are not alone, he is with us carrying us. Amen
You have surely not found Jesus if you never tell others about him, spread the word, show the love that Jesus has given us. There's someone out there who is ready to listen. Just need to tell that person today. Don't be afraid to step out for Jesus
But Jesus looked at them and said to them "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible". (Matthew 19:26)
Trying to put together the rest of my preach walking round the front room talking to myself, well talking to God lol and the passion and the fire burning in me to do what the he wants me to do is awesome. God has got plans for me and we just got to go with it to walk the path he wants us to walk and remember its all for him not us.
"If we died with him we will also live with him if we endure we will also reign with him if we disown him he will also disown us if we are faithless he remains faithful for he cannot disown himself" (2 Timothy 2:11-13)
"You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness" (Romans 6:18)
I did not think that I would walk through Rochdale telling people about the Lord let alone carrying a big cross but it was awesome doing what we are supposed to do. I have seen a man make a choice and give his life to Jesus and a muslim women said to us "Jesus does save lives" next minute she's letting Den pray for her in the name of Jesus. Times are changing, God is calling out for his people. I will leave you with this, what a wise man told me... "He must become greater I must become less" John 3:30
