I have been learning a lot in life lately and one of the things I'm learning is to wait on God's timing. So many times I rush into things and so many times I get it wrong. It's because when we rush into things we are not prepared. It might seem like nothing is going forward, that we not progressing but we have got to understand in those times God is teaching us, preparing us and moulding us into what we need to be in order to do what he wants us to do.Thank you Lord for preparing me for what you want me to do.
Amen bro this is the calm before the storm. God's got a plan but he is allowing us to be made ready, Everyone in the Bible who God used in a big way had to be prepared first. Sometimes for many years.
Ah THANK YOU Walter! I needed to be reminded of this today! We do tend to think that what we are doing is so important and can get wrapped up in our plans..... all the while Jesus' one main goal for each of us is to become more like Him.. and yeah we need to recognise the preparation time too.. He knows just when we are ready for those good works which He has planned in advance for us to do... (think that's in Romans!) Ephesians 2:10
I have decided to follow Jesus... the world behind me the cross before me...though none go with me I still will follow...no turning back !no turning back!. William J. Reynolds
God gives us the strength to do all things, even the things we said we would never do or couldn't do. With Him we can do all things and if He's got His hand in it there is not a man on earth who can stop it, so prepare to do things you wouldn't think you would do in your lifetime, because he doesn't call the equipped he equips the called. Remember when God's in control anything can happen.
Sometimes you can seem to be waiting forever for chances to be practical in your walk with the Lord. You see we all have been given gifts to use so we have just got to step out in faith and be willing for God to use us in what he has got for us and that might not be in the places where you think you can be used or want to be used, so stop waiting to be used because you can be used now. Step out of that boat! We might fall a thousand times but Jesus will be there to pick us back up each time. Walter out.
Every day there are opportunities from small things like being kind to large things like laying down your life for a friend. If we ask the Holy Spirit first thing to lead us that day, we will always have opportunities.
You could be waiting for ever for chances to be practical in your walk with the Lord. You see we all have been given gifts to use, so we have just got to step out in faith and be willing for God to use us in whatever he has got for us. That might not be in the places where you think you can be used or want to be used, so stop waiting to be used because you can be used. Now step out of that boat! We might fall a thousand times but Jesus will be there to pick us back up each time. Walter
